Get a better plant and borrow some poles that are in between.

There aren't any shortcuts in pole vaulting. You don't magically jump higher by grabbing a bigger pole, you have to earn it.

The pole didn't change, you just got better at pole vaulting.

i go up poles in foot long increments. here is a complete list of my pole transitions:

12' 110 110*
12' 120 110*
12' 130 110*
13' 130 110*
13' 135 115*
13' 140 120*
13' 145 120*
13' 150 120*
14' 125 120*
14' 130 120*
14' 135 120*
14' 140 120*

*my weight

i've only used skypoles to mess around on. i really don't like them at all, i prefer ucs over anything else and that is all i use except for an occassional mystic (13' 145) or pacer (13' 140). everything else i use or have are all ucs.
