I'd love to hear how prelims worked :confused:

Why was Rachel even jumping in prelims? I thought the top kids got passed straight through to finals?

She didn't. It is confusing the way they posted results, but any girl on the prelims result page with a result of 12' or higher did not jump in prelims. That was their seed hight. Similarly with the boys anyone with a seed of 15' or higher did not have to jump in prelims yeterday.

So she really just cleared the height listed for finals?

That is correct. She did not have to (and did not jump) in the Friday qualifier round(s).
