you vault about as high as i do, and u have the same problem.
when you take off you kind of get sucked into the pole. you need to hit it had and stay down, you're swinged to early. let find a video to show u, it's hard for me to explain.

start a 1:20 the drive seing is the most important thing but the next phase would be good to watch too.

Eh, I don't think "swinging too early" is the proper way to phrase. This has been discussed before, but I think the conclusion of that discussion was that you should swing immediately. There is no "holding C position" or "staying down". I could be misinterpreting what you're trying to say, or maybe I'm wrong altogether. But anyway, that's at least what I think.

You need to learn how to properly carry a pole first.
Your top hand should be on your hip and your left elbow below the pole with its weight on top of the wrist. Without a good pole carry, you will not be able to run tall and get in proper position to plant and take off properly.
Until you fix this, everything else is a moot point.
