Day 4

Groom, TX to Albuquerque, NM

After visiting the very large cross, we continued along northern Texas.

I think this was at a rest area/visitors information center near Amarillo.

Cadillac Ranch!

Well it is kind of a shame that they are all graffiti, but I guess it gives the cars more flavor?

Some sights in Vega.

THE greatest sign ever! This was in Adrian, Texas

These flowers were so cute, and so was my foot.

We stopped by the Midpoint Cafe, but it was closed :(

So we drove through Glenrio, TX, a true ghost town. I wish I had taken more pictures. The signs said it was a business loop, but that was a bit misleading... only one sign said that it was actually a spur. The road turned into gravel very quickly, so mom made me turn around and get back on the freeway.

Glenrio straddles Texas and New Mexico, so as soon as we got back on the freeway, we were in NM. The rest stop had plenty of helpful advice for us.

Do I get a prize if I pick the right answer?

Enchanting

This is what NM looks like...

Day 5 - Albuquerque, NM to Barstow, CA.

Return to Athens to Seattle
