Come on, who hasn't lounged around on the mat on a hot spring day? You're just wierd if you don't take advantage of the incredible qualities of the pit on hot, lazy days. I've even chilled INSIDE the pit, underneath the top cover!

If your dad's idea of dressing sharp at the Olympic Trials is wearing his red suspenders and a new straw hat. (I love you Pop.)

LOL, I just found this picture in an old shoe box. I guess I should have said "green ball cap" instead of "straw hat."

If a teammate gives you a haricut in between the qualifying round and finals and the haircut involves the shaving in of word or symbols and/or some strance color of dye...you might be a redneck polevaulter
