I like my vaulters to keep their drive knee up and trail leg back and land on the drive knee foot (so right foot for most vaulters) when they do slide box drills.

yeah, that was like the last one i did and i was kinda tired and remembered to get the camera, i usually keep the drive knee forward the whole time too, i guess i should have noted that

I'm not sure, but to me it looked like you might've blocked with your left arm some. Not sure though, it was tough to tell. But you've got a great pole drop.

yes. you'll start getting caught with the pole off to the right at the plant and you'll drift right. Also, it takes you off balance a little bit when you run so you slow down to compensate.

The 3-step plant drill causes a lot of bad habits IMHO. Learn to time your hands moving up with a free dropping pole. Don't even take a step until you can do it standing still. Do it with both hands, do it with one hand at a time. Your hands should just move basically straight up. Your chest can open up by moving the right shoulder back a bit. Watch Bubka for this.

Yeah, the free pole drop drill helps. I did a bunch today in my front yard, but I must admit it must've looked wierd... :)
