Chelsea Johnson - 14'11" at Impromptu Meet In Livermore
Moderators: achtungpv, vaultmd
Let me take the bullet on this one. With this crowd I should have known better than to post a video without having *all* the details.
Gotta love it -- so many purists in our sport
I have to stand by my original comment though -- it was a sweet jump! Chelsea's heading for heights north of 15-3 this summer.

isn't that what this post was all about? praising an athlete for a stellar performance?
one of you guys should call up Tito and ask him about it if you're that concerned when someone jumps high at his meet.
You biased, partial person, you
You in Sacramento for the meet? Me and you and Jake need to get together with some of our friends . . .

Darn! It'll just have to be me and Jake then .
Seriously, I've got to miss most of the meet because of my 25th year med school class reunion, which will only be 3 miles away. Maybe I'll show up to the meet in my tux . . .

First, congrats to Chelsea, she will always be a favorite at the Texas Relays, fantastic athlete, great person. I hope she will come back and jump here. I am with Wilson though and want to know who Mrs. Keller is doubting on their officiating duties. I have been priviliged to meet some of the pac bunch out west and know they do as Wilson say run a tight ship. I also know most of the officials here in Texas that work the vault, not too shabby a bunch here. Knowing Chelsea and her dad, knowing her potential, high bars were in her future, I think she will jump much higher. It does irk me though that someone would post that she didn't jump that high because of some officials misdeeds. I say... Way to go Ms.Johnson.. Mrs. Keller, don't doubt the officials so much.
compete and jump safe, have fun
