to me it sounds like your really trying to muscle through jumps and thats not what polevaulting should feel like- it should never feel strenous. my advice for crossbarhopper would to get faster stronger and spend the majority of your time on the run and plant and the pushoff will come. i would say work on inversion stuff straight poling before practice and then let it come natural when your vaulting, when you should be working on your run and plant.... by the way is coach elliot still coaching in claremore?
