Brad Gebauer-5.60

Unread postby bjvando » Sat Feb 03, 2007 8:37 pm

Brad Gebauer from Mcneese State just called me to tell me he set a new PR at 5.60m to lead the nation.

After jumping 5.52, to set a new PR, he put the bar to 5.60 to try and qualify for USA's and made it 1st attempt!!!!

Way to go B!

I was at the meet. Brad jumps were really good. He has convinced me that he is one to beat at nationals. The jump at 5.60m, he hit everything right. Brad even said after the jump that the take-off felt effortless.
Great meet Brad.

He was definitely a force to be reckoned with today... If he hadnt run out of gas, he would have gone 5.66 easy, maybe even higher... Not bad for jumping on a strained hamstring!!
4.75... Write THAT down...

He's my hero...

Had a good attempt at 5.66m but had to shut it down after a long day. Watch out for bigger marks to come!

Great job Brad.

I love you.

Great job Brad! I'm looking forward to watching you vault in Boston! We are very lucky to have Ty as a coach. He's awesome. Nice work!

He is my hero...the man is a beast, he is so quick in all of his actions. Brads warm up at Reno was awsome to watch, he continuously put energy into the pole throughout his whole jump. I want him to coach me!

sorry... no video... brad's coaches got a little too preoccupied with actually watching the jumps, that we forgot to tape it. It would have been good though... and you could have seen Ty's 70" vertical... He was almost eye level with the bar. :)
