I went to vegas a couple years ago and saw a show that has come contortionists. They have the strongest cores I have ever seen. Some of the stuff they did, believe it or not, was far more impressive than that...
I'll try to explain one of the acts
One guy was 'lying' flat to the ground, belly up, hoisted only by his hands. So not only are his shoulders hyperextended, he is balancing all of of his weight in a way that just makes no sense. What made it worse, is his buddy climbed on top of him, and did the same position, putting his hands on the bottom guys shoulders...
maybe you can't picture that, but it was truly one of the most impressive things I have ever seen... just nuts...

wow ive tried those parallel to the ground but never like that before. ive almost got the parallel to the ground version and i can pretty much do handstand dips so mebbe ill try that next wrestling practice lol. anyways heres a way more impressive video of some of the stuff the human body is capable of.
