I absolutely agree with DJ. If anyone is having trouble getting their steps from 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or more lefts just send me a pm or reply with your grip height and I'll give you a specific activity to do that will absolutely get your step on the first time.

My chart gives you the stride lengths. you just have to see where you match up and practice the correct sprint/pole carry form to match the rhythms …

thanks guys..
but the first two that have responded are coaches that have already learned to use the info as a tool to make their vaulters better and to make themselves better coaches...
i appreciate their response but if we don't get many, many more responses.. pro or con we will never answer our approach run questions or problems..
i feel everyone should at least try it the way ladyvol and lonestar have.. find out if it's fact or fiction!!! if you can't get it to work .. give me your processm and ask me why...
i just had a vaulter use the process and go from 6 lefts.. she had been jumping from a short run..
we only got a couple of runs in because we were on the grass and the pole tip stuck.. did want to get her hurt.. but the 2nd one she did was pretty sweet.. and she didn't seem to be bothered with the 6 step run..
if she uses that same run onthe track for a couple of weeks i would bet she can start vaulting from it and be at PR heights...
i just recently got a PM about the "MID" from kris, who i think sais he was on PVP..
if you don't mind kris we should put the info you and i have been sharing on here (PVP)
what do you think.. maybe it would continue to help the understanding..
it is still a tool.. not magic
