well what about the reeboks?

I have the PVL right now and they are great shoes, that fit my foot great, but fell apart. The bottom split in two, and the heel detached from one of the shoes....for $100+ I will not buy them again.

Reeboks

I'm telling you...I've had the Nike's and they fell apart...you said the Reebok's fell apart...why not try Mizuno. I know two Olympians that wear them and absolutely love them (Sawano and Lanaro). Other than that...I think some people are wearing adidas, asics, and New Balance.

Spikes

Mizunos! is the way to go! But there are the american Mizunos that are LJ spikes that I saw once on ebay, you can find them for really cheap. THOSE ARE NOT THEM! The spikes sebes are talkin about are from Japan and they are awesome. I have a pair ;) But I have also had a pair of Asics cyber jumps! and those spikes are great! I have had Nike PVL and those are crap they lasted about a solid month before they started to get flimsy and I had problems with the velcro straps. I also had the Nike LJ/PV Spikes and those are orriented torwards people with more of a narrow foot I really did not like them forced me to run too much on my toes and I felt realy off balance. But that is just me.

I'm glad everyone likes the Mizuno TJ/PV but does anyone know where I can get some? I really would like to get a hold of a pair before the season starts!

They have tons left on clearance and I'm pretty sure the only different between the recent years is color!

well I don't want to sound feminine, but the Mizunos are too UGLY. They are so ugly my feet wouldn't even let me try them on!

Ugly?

Unread postby Sebes » Sun Nov 05, 2006 8:41 pm

I have the Japanese Mizunos...and they are far from Ugly. But I do most of my shopping at Target...so maybe I don't know what's up.

Absolutely not. Target is where I buy some of my street clothes...last time I checked I didn't see any Pole Vaulting spikes. :)

HaHa, its hard NOT to sound feminine when you say something like a pair of high quality spikes are ugly and you would not want to be seen with those things on your pretty little feet? :P
