I have a new video section dedicated to showing how to do various skills and drills that help build the strength required to pole vault higher.

I will be adding more clips in time.
Please send me feedback! I need more coaching cues, how to spot things, alternate ways of doing the drill, etc.

wow you guys are pretty strong.
i guess an alternate way of doing bubkas, or possibly just a seperate drill, is something my coach calls a pull over. its basicaly a bubka except you keep going and rotate around the bar after inverting. you wind up in the same posistion as a finsihed muscle up. i dont really know how to describe it but i tried.

Here's a link to a bunch of drills that Bob Duckworth taped at our Beginner to Bubka Clinic this summer with Australian Coach/Author, Alan Launder at my home base in The Woodlands, Texas.

At the top of his site you can click on a two part interview done with Alan. Very interesting and helpful. Thanks Bob!! Bubba

Hey Becca, you might want to update the page below (see URL) so it has a link on it to these drills.

I tried to find the drills working my way through home>media>video, but couldn't find it. I had to do a search to find this which provided the link.
