Any NY Vaulters out there.

Unread postby pcCMC8905 » Mon Aug 15, 2005 11:09 pm

Hey guys i'm a high school vaulter in NY. I'm going into 11th this year. Last year in 10th grade i was on a 15ft pole and vaulting 15ft in practice but in meets i only 12-6. i think its caz i look at the bar/bungee when i vault. Well i was just wondering how good other vaulters in NY are. So feel free to share stories and Prs.

Hey *Breakaway*89, I live near Troy and Albany. Now i go to a little School called Tamarac but I used to go to Shenedehowa. We're in Section II. How about you, what part of NY do live in?

Hey im Jason Pelletier, from section 4. Last year as a freshman i got to 12 feet, then in indoor of this year i got to 14', 9 inches away from the sophmore class NYS record :-(. The outdoor season has sucked for me though, ive been too injured to really progress. No states for me, either. 5 jumpers over 14 in our section, and i sucked at quals :-(. Heres a question, how many of you guys are gonna do empire state games?? You should all do it, easy qualifier and then free stuff at the games
