Mel Meuller had a video of her getting spit down the run way similar to that a few years ago. She nearly landed on a metal bench along the runway.

yeah i think i saw that video, pretty crazy too. and that other one of course by the guy who said dont let go of your pole its your friend. anyone know of any other insane videos like that?

definitely a Bresmer like jump. Way to hang on. It seems like in slow motion you are stuck with a full bent pole for eternity, I would imagine that is pretty freaky.

Why do vaults like this happen? Is it like low planting and not getting over the sail piece? Or maybe in combination with not jumping on the last step?

It was a good save and I'm proud :) Corey was able to rebound (no pun intended) to finish 3rd in his first State Meet as a freshman :yes:

Great Job :P

the funniest part was wen the dude at the end of the jump goes " o that sux", what does this guy usually jump?
