Hey Guys & Gals. Our friend Steve Warr (M65) jumped a current world leading 10' 8" last weekend at the San Antonio Senior Games. Here's a photo sequence of the jump. I hope I can get close to that at 65. Congrats Colonel!! Bubba

I got to meet Steve at the USATF South Texas Meet in Elgin.
I believe he cleared 10"6 to easily win his age group.
Fortunately I was vaulting in the age group below him.
-- but a couple of us "old guys" hung in there with the
youth for quite a while in that meet. And we each got our gold.
I hit a personal best-- a happy way to kick off the outdoor season.
I also ran the 100 M hurdles (for the first time in 44 years) and
beat the age group All American Standard by 2 seconds)
So it was a great trip to Texas
