My vaulters need some poles for the month of May. We will rent or buy used poles in good condition. We take care of freight both ways.
Naturally, the system has no funds at this time and is not likely to purchase more than 1 or 2 poles next year(if that)!
Poles Needed ;
Spirit 15'1" 155 - 165 - 180 & 185 lb
Spirit 15' 7" poles will be considered and we have used Pacer poles we can trade or sell off. We are in SE Missouri and the vaulters & parents are using their money.
Thanks, Coach

Hello Navigator! Welcome to the forum. First order of business for you is to check with your neighboring schools and colleges. See if you can trade some of your poles for theirs. Schools do this all the time. The trade can be temporary or permanant. It's up to you and the "other guys" which term works the best for both of you.. Also check and see if there are any clubs that may have poles that you can either trade with or rent from. A couple of examples up here in Minnesota are Flight Deck Athletics and Altitude with Attitude. Both clubs rent many poles to schools and individuals and other clubs throughout the year. It's a win win situation for everybody involved and the club. The club get's your money which keeps them in poles and also keeps membership dues low, and you get the poles you need at a fraction of the cost of what it would be if you had to buy them. Plus, if you need to "move up" you just simply exchange your present pole for one that will work for you as your vaulters progresses. Check that option first. Make some phone calls and send som e-mails. You'll be surprised what's out there and how it can work for you. Later..............Mike

Thanks for your reply Mike,
The fact is, we have a good assortment of poles and the 'trade pole for pole' would work except there aren't any poles in the area high schools in the length/weights we need. I have the (very good) problem of having the top 2 vaulters in the immediate area........14' ers !
I have a 'feeler' out to the local college team that I hope will be successful. For my kids sake, I want to explore all avenues until we fulfill our needs. Thanks again, PV navigator

I have many different spirit poles to sell. One is a 15' 180. The next problem is shipping poles. It will cost $100 or more to ship it unless some one knows of a shipping company with low rates.

Hey there!
The last pole I got from UCS cost about $39 to ship from NV. It is cheaper to ship from a business, to a business. I had the pole shipped to my workplace. E-mail me your price and condition/age and serial # of the pole. I will get back to you after I have this info.
Thanks for the reply, PV-navigator
By the way, we found a 15 - 155 at another area school (only 30 miles away)!
