For what it's worth
I have run a lot of PV camps over the years and helped out at a lot of camps, I would put it at over 50 with the likes of Jan Johnson, Greg Hull and at the University of Oregon, etc. so from my perspective I would highly recommend any Camp that Alan Launder is a part of.
Last year I went to the Nampa clinic and I flew in under the radar. Alan did not know me so I went as a masters athlete camper.
It was really cool because it was my first PV camp as an actual participant. At 50 years old it almost killed me keeping up with the kids but man what a blast.
There are a lot of great camps but the following reasons are why I am taking the time to recomend Alan's camps.
1. I think alot of us here in the U.S. are teaching the Petrov method or at least parts of this model, so getting some instruction from someone that has had the great opportunity to actually work with Petrov and Bubka is really elightening, and Alan does a great job of relating this information to you if your are open to hearing it.
2. I really liked Alan's approach to splitting up the group into different stations working on specific drills to learn the specific techinical points he was trying to teach us. Great drills done with a logical progression.
3. Alan is a really interesting character so he keeps the clinic fun and you just never know what might come out of that crazy Auzie's mouth, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
4. Finally I think it is very usefull to get a different perspective from a great coach from a different country/culture. Very enlightening both for the vault and for life.
Check it out you will be very glad you did

Junior Olympic Help
For those who enter our clinic and are also jumping at the local Junior Olympics during the first part, Kris Allison will be coaching those athletes at their J.O. meet as an adjunct to our clinic. Thanks! Bubba
