so at the indoor state meet i tied my own record by jumping 15 6...i had the worst warm up ever and didnt even take off the ground once so i had to come in at 13 6 so i could atleast fall over it so i could win my small school state title the video is at http://media.putfile.com/corey-shank-indoor-state

Where are those standards set at on 15 foot jumps?

on the 15 foot jump they were pretty far back 28 i think...then on 15 6 i went bigger and brought them up to 20

What size pole are you using on those jumps?
This year your gonna have to work twice as hard.

well since my warm up was so bad i started on some real small poles but i finially got up to the pole i normally use for 15 6 and it is a 15 6 155...i weight about 130 and am about 5 8 5 9

15'6'' for a freshman is pretty darn good. I'm a freshman and my best is 11'. When did you start jumping?

haha, yeah i agree about the little "um..ya" in the video. pretty sweet. im just curious, i know you said you came in low to get a height cuz of bad warmups (ive done that before) but did you win after the first height? and if you did how come you still only went up by 6 inches... or instead go to like 15'9'' after 15 instead of 15'6''... just for the sake of breaking YOUR OWN natl. record haha. maybe its just me but i like seeing records be broken... anyway, good luck and keep it up

well what it was was the state meet...i won my small school group but the big school had 3 16 footers so they still wanted to stay normal and go 6 inches.... after i went 15 6 i did go 15 9 but was so tired i landed in the box 3 straight times
