anyone in the world...i think bubka tried to jump on a 5.40, low 10 flex, but couldnt handle having that much pole under his grip, and went back down to the 5.30s. in competition, i think hartwig has jumped on a 5.30, 10.3, which is said to be the second stiffest pole jumped in history, but other than that, i dont really know...me, the biggest ive been on is 4.60, 16.7 flex, but im just a little guy...
A unique time when balls are more important than brains - pole vaulting.

Bubka Jumped on a 5.20 10.3 or 220 We got a guy on our team here that caps a 5.20 10.4, but Jacob davis rode up a 5.10 9.9. I heard Jeremy Scott is getting some really long poles built wonder what they'll be.

I heard that too. I also heard that Okkert Brits was on a 5.20 or 5.30 9.6. I think the biggest pole Jeff has jumped on is a 5.25 10.8--could be wrong though.

yea i bet okkert was on some big ol poles when he jumped 6.03. Not only does he probably weigh well over 200 lbs, but he's also not the greatest of technicians. He jumps high b/c both his balls and poles are so big.

4.90 14.0flex------ I still like the 15'6'' -13.4flex the best though.
