Masters Track and Field: A History

This book is now readable online through Google Print. You can search the entire text for stories on pole vault, but really all the stories are great. PV Power member Roger Ruth appears in the book quite a few times :)

http://print.google.com/ and type in Masters Track.

Thanks for the note, Becca.

Fun fact to know and tell: I wrote more than half the book and provided original research for much of the rest. Len Olson paid me an hourly rate back in 1998 (when I was recovering from a broken ankle at Orono masters nationals). During this time, I became a great penpal of Roger Ruth, former M40 world record holder in the vault.

Roger is also a member of this website, keeper of all women's national records, and all-around amazing person!
