The USATF recognizes you at 30. The WAVA (international) not til 40 (i think) and may lower that age to 35. Go to www.nationalmastersnews.com and check it out.

Robert - you can enter any Masters Meet - Think about Eugene and Nationals (Masters) in August - usually 800 to 1000 plus entries - some of these meets get pretty big - 1995 Worlds in Buffalo - over 5000 entries - 54 in the 40-44 Decathalon alone -

Funny - maybe Willie Gault thought that was true also - he did get second in Boston - some meets you can kick butt and some the favor gets returned - Buffalo had the 1 and 2 place in HJ where Oly Guys from 76 - guy by the names of Stones and James B. - at 40 you need to be in the 15' plus range if you want to be a big dog - but half the fun is getting there and slowing father time time - Current Indoor Records
