eye wear
I searched the NFHS rule book but could not find anything about sunglasses. Checked NFHS web sit and only found something about sunglasses for soccer. I know I've always heard only prescription glasses are allowed, but I can't find it in writting. I'm going to do some checking with some other officials and see what I can find.

I emailed this question to an official who is very "up" on the rules, and his reply was - There is NO restriction to sun glasses as long as they are not offensive or outrageous.
Sounds reasonable to me.
