Beginner to Bubka author, Alan Launder, will be in Orlando FLA. 22 - 25 January O6. Is there any interest in a clinic in that area during that period? :dazed:

I love it when you always refer to yourself in the 3rd person when you post announcements like this. :P

Reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld...

sorry for the suggestion... the problem with pvp is we have so many with egos and so much "miss information" the less knowledgeable can't discern the good info from the bad... and some “commentorsâ€Â

dj wrote:ps….relay… What’s this dropped baton crap!!! If there are any sprint/relay coaches out there or anyone that wants to tell usatf… I.. dj..will make a $40,000 wager.. give me the relay for one year.. $40,000 pay and I will promise a world record …and to get the baton around……. If not I’ll return the money.. all of it no strings attached..

There were no dropped batons in the 1996 OLYMPIC Atlanta GAMES The batons we made were specific no-slip baton approved and encouraged by the IAAF. When the hand grabs these the special surface chanelled the sweat to the side and the hand still had a grip??????

PORTaPIT still sells these special designed batons why have they not used them in other GAMES?????

Contact me if anyone needs them for future events!!

Hey Mr. Launder...come up to Wyoming. I've bought your book, I'd come to a clinic.

You guys shouldn't just rely on a response from this website to gauge whether or not it is worth your time to do a clinic. Try contacting local coaches in the area and see if you can get them behind you. They're the ones who can really recruit local kids. Only a tiny fraction of vaulters from any particular area read the board regularly.
