i only vaulted for a year in HS. my PR was 12' at that point in life. i sucked pretty bad. we didnt see many of the south subarbs teams. the only chance is if you guys were at the Arnie Invite we hosted. but, i really dont remember vaulting against anyone but the crazy looking bald guy from Hinsdale Central that looked like he was 30.

Come on now...I must agree with SKOT here. I'm not screaming mad or yelling, but it just ticks me off a little when people go to the meets and steal stuff...I don't really understand why it is 'funny' or 'cool' but hopefully you will get to that stage in life when you look back and say, man, that was stupid, stealing a bunch of other people's stuff from track meets. It doesn't reflect a good image too...I remember people trying to steal our stuff all the time in h.s. The schools sell the shirts and shorts if you really want them...
On a side note, yea Maine South was fun, I was jumping forever on the other pit on the infield...Really tired myself out.
Fight the good fight: It's nice to be great but it's far greater to be nice.

Oh, i agree with you whole heartedly, i don't know why my friends are the way they are. However, this tradition was started by York kids raiding our locker room first, but you're probably saying that doesn't right a wrong...blah blah...but actually my LT shorts, i bought from Good Will in Riverside for $4. And my York Shirt was actually a funny story, i can be a goody-2-shoes at times and i felt so guilty when we were snoopin around that i left a $20 bill in the girl's locker after i took her gym shirt, i was made fun of by my team mates hard core for that, but at least my conscience was clean
