Bike Workouts

Unread postby wakesurfvault » Thu Jul 21, 2005 4:58 pm

I currently have an injury where I cannot run, so I was wondering if anyone had any idea of some bike workouts that I could do in the meantime. I'm guessing biking for 10 miles isn't gonna do much, so I was thinking like 30 sec. repeats or something like that. So if anyone has any advise that would be great. Thanks

Hey-

It's the summer. If you're hurt, now is the best time to take some time away and recover. There's no need to keep pushing and make a minor injury into something major.

its very true that this is the time to rest, but you should also stay in shape and stationary bikes and swimming offer the least amount of stress on your legs. so keep biking for the sake of staying in relativly good shape. if you want to put a couple of bursts w/ high RPM's/resistance, go for it. but, dont focus on it. you have lots of time to make sure that your problem/s get better.
