Yeah I was wondering the same thing...he wasnt even on the start list....
One other note, chris chappel of arizona was on the start list but decided not to jump at the last minute due to a sore hamstring.

I was just about to ask where chappel was and why he didnt jump. Also, i dont know about the girls side but the heights seem kinda low on the guys side.

The heights on the guys side were low I agree in comparison to maybe the big 12, but in general I would have to disagree. You are failing to take into consideration the fact that Chapel, Byers, and Tommy (one way or the other) fell out of the competition early. Each person I believe would have been forced to jump higher in the situation that these three were around for teh last couple bars. While 540 may not seem to be big, you also have to realize kim is just coming back after having his hand really beat up by a bad pole break. As for the other heights, I cannot speak for, I'm just pointing out that the depth maybe have been lacking this year, but only due to injury.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

I spoke with Jan the phone yesterday, he said that Chelsea's winning jump was 14-01, not 13-07. Does anybody have any more info on this?

Tysons mom works at my High School, and i think that she said that Tyson tore his hamstring. Somewhere along those lines. So i think thats why he wasnt there. :(
I just had a team dinner with Tysons mom and she said that he would be ready to compete in regionals
Just you wait...
