The Up&Coming in NJ...

hey i was just wondering if you or someone you know is going to be up at contending heights that is a sophomore right now, or a freshman (07, and 08)....post your heights....

I dont know what you consider contender heights, but bergen county has got some decent sophs right now. Theres a kid from Hasbrouck Heights vaulting 11'6 and another dude from Dumont goin about 11-11'6. As for freshmen we have a couple of dudes at ridgewood right now goin 10 or 10'6 but its too early in the season to really see whose got potential.

Also if there's any decent performances, 12'6 or better goin on in North Jersey taht you've seen or heard about post that too.

yeah i'm a sophomore at 11'' as a pr right now. i was just wondering how other people are doing in the area. we had west milford today and i know he is a senior but Luke Gunther barely missed clearing 13'

im a soph from warick which is like 30 seconds from nj, im a soph my pr is 12'3" and we have a freshamn with a pr of 12

there's a kid this year from randolph who jumped 12 last year as a soph

this summer i jumped for 4 weeks with a coach from clifton and i jumped roughly 13 but only on a 13'1'' pole and one of his kids has been doin real good (2nd year vaulter, senior) been going to Vertical Assault too....he's a little ehead of me, im a junior this year though, ill be vaulting for Hackensack
