What's the best high school relay that you know of

I was at home this weekend (Wadsworth, OH) and my high school team just put together a state record 44' relay (15', 14'6", 14'6") and I was just wondering what is the most amazing relay that you have ever seen or heard about.

My athletes just did a 13, 13-6, 13-6 = 40' which is pretty darn good up here in MN!

Centerville had a 30' relay a couple years ago with Kupets and Sullivan....Great bridge would have a nice relay over 30 feet with Magness and Morrison.

Well.... I think a couple years ago we had 3 people jump at an invitational. either 1 at 15+ and 2 at 16+ or 2 at 15+ and 1 at 16+. Im not sure who it was but it might of been Brad Walker, Tyson Byers, and Eric Dormier. Im thinkin around 45ish

You're getting warm Mecham. Brad is a few years ahead of Tyson and Eric though, they weren't all jumping those heights in the same year. Plus, a relay record has to be set in a relay meet, which are pretty rare these days.

University High School has the WA record with a jump of 42'6" in 2002 by Tyson Byers, Eric Dormaier, and Robert Harris.

Orting High School, led by the legendary Casey Carrigan, had a relay of 40'1"... in 1969.

I'd have to say the Penn Relays.

Northrop High School in Fort Wayne Indiana last year had James Martzall at 16' 0", Bandon Schneider 16' 0", and Seager Wilson at 15' 6". James and Brandon went 1-2 at State with Seager getting 8th. James and Brandon graduated and Seager is a senior this year with a 15' 9" PR.
