This is about some ice hockey players...

The boards in front of the players' benches at the Cloetta Center are high, built with men's teams in mind. Canadian head coach Melody Davidson estimated they were three to six inches higher than what is considered normal.
And there is only one gate on each bench, which means some players will be scaling those boards several times a game.
"I use my stick as a pole vault sometimes to get myself over," said defenceman Carla MacLeod, a five-foot-four defender. "They're high for sure. The first time I jumped in practice I definitely fell and hit the ice pretty hard."
