Gas

Unread postby jmayesvaultmom » Mon Mar 10, 2003 9:06 pm

That is why I don't have my big conversion van anymore. Last time it did this when gas was up to 1.75-1.85....it would cost me $70 to fill up my van. Now I drive a Honda CRV and we can put the poles on top and it's cheaper on gas than most other cars....especially how much we drive! :P Gas in Fayetteville, Arkansas is at the lowest 1.55 for the lowest octane gas. This last November and December I bought gas in Tulsa for 1.19!
That's Jodie!!

A scripture that makes me think of all you girls and guys pole vaulting....

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

well we can suck it up for a while...after all, after we kick the crap out of Iraq and Saddam and put our own puppet gov in there that will trade oil with us independent of OPEC (seriously though, i'm not being scarcastic or cynical), gas prices will fall again. Of course there are other reasons we are going in, but as long as we're going it alone, whats wrong with taking a little for ourselves while we're there?

I love being able to express my opinions to a bunch of conservative vaulters like myself.

it's up at 2.09 at the highest that I've seen in my hometown.

I have no idea how high it is in Worcester, considering I haven't filled up my tank here in ages
