Feofanova soars to 4.76 World record

Glasgow, UK - Svetlana Feofanova almost lifted the roof off the Kelvin Hall this afternoon (Sunday) when she set a new World record in the Pole Vault, clearing 4.76 metres on her first attempt. It was the undoubted highlight of the Norwich Union International, a high quality five-way match between Great Britain, Sweden, Russia, Italy and a European select team.
