FREE PIT

Unread postby VaultBrad » Mon Feb 28, 2005 6:37 pm

We have an old(20 years) UCS pit, old Gill(from back when Gill was still owed by AMF) standards and base pads that used to be in our backyard. The pit is not regulation for any competition, but it is perfect for backyard vaulting. It is still in great shape. There are some holes. The front buns are blue and the main part of the pit is red. We do not have a cover so we used a tarp to cover it when not in use. The standards still work. They are a bit shakey and definately have to be secured to the ground for use with a bugee or a bar. The max height is 17ft., but the heighest usable height is 16ft. The pit was first at UNH then went to Holy Cross, then to us.

We are located in Barrington, Rhode Island. We would be happy to give the pit and standards to anyone who wants to come and get them. It would probably make the most ense for somebody in New Engand, but if you are not from the area and still want to come get every thing you are more than welcome to.

Ok, Now ya got me thinkin'. Let me see what I can do about shipping. Would there be a business address that a trucking company could pick it up at? Also, stacked up in somewhat of a square, what would you say the general demensions are. Thanks.............Mike

Brad,

I'll take you up on the offer for the standards, okay?

I've already got a pit.

Let's talk, and I'll come get the standards next week when I'm on break.
