whats was ur PR in 8th grade

whats was ur PR in 8th grade

i started to polevualt last year as a seveth grader i jumped 10 foot and we just started vaulting again and i ve already jumped 12 i was just wandering how the everyone else does

They didn't have girls pole vault when I was in 8th grade. :( Oh wait WA doesn't sponsor pole vault in 8th grade anyway. And the thought had never crossed my mind to do track at all at the time.

But still :P

I vaulted one week during my summer, and I cleared 7'6" I believe. But we didn't have a pole vault for 8th grade when I was in middle school.

i never thought of doing and i just tried track to kill and hour of school
then i made the high jump team and i needed a second event to go to meets so i tryed it out and i started to bet everyone of the guys at the school by the end of the season i medaled in everymeet and won conference(thats as far as 8th graders get to go)

wow :yes: thats really good for girsl are girls 8th grade record is 8 foot 5 but thats going to be broken but no as high as 10 7

Wow...none of the middle schools around where I am offer pole vault....actually, after I quit gymnastics at the end of eighth grade and my friends asked me what sport I was going to do next, I had to explain to them what pole vaulting was because they truly had no clue.

yeah i feel pretty lucky to have an AWESOME coach he starts most kids in 5th grade and by the time they become freshman there jumping 12' no problem
