Richard Spiegelburg won the men’s Pole Vault with 5.75m but he had missed qualifying for Madrid five days earlier at the national championships. German champion Danny Ecker was second in Chemnitz (5.70), although he slightly injured a rib. “It is nothing serious, I will be ready for Madrid. And my aim is to jump higher thereâ€Â
