Penn State to Host Track and Field Coaches Clinic State College, Pa., Feb. 7, 2004 - Penn State will host its third annual Track and Field Coaches Clinic featuring a special instructional section on pole vault safety on Feb. 18 at the Penn State Multi-Sport Facility. Penn State head men's coach Harry Groves and women's head coach Beth Alford-Sullivan will lead the one-day clinic which will feature coaches from both program's staffs with more than 90 years combined experience in coaching. Guest speakers with a wide range of track and field experience will also be on hand as the clinic offers extensive instruction in all aspects of track and field and will devote a special segment to pole vaulting safety considerations.
