I never new it was a song title until a few years after I graduated.

Our guys have a 14ft Spirit warm up pole that someone put a sticker on that says "Always swim near a lifeguard" and so they named the pole "Pamela" ( as in Pamela Anderson from Baywatch :) )

Any vaulters from EMU, UofM, CMU remember the Pole "Easy Money"?

I think every vaulter from those schools have used her.

The pole was an old Pacer III, I believe a 5.00m built somewhere between 1982-1985. It was a pole that had broken off from the bottom a couple of different times. The end result was a pole probably 15ft long, had a hundred marks on it, but it would just not break. Who knows what the flex on it was.

Ask Paul Babits what the record height cleared on Easy Money is. I believe he holds the record.
