Pole vault clinic set to be held Jan. 6

Former Klamath Union standout Jonathan Fay and KU track and field coach Mike Herron have scheduled a free pole vault clinic from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the Klamath County Youth Sports Complex.

The clinic will be held indoors.

The clinic is for all interested individuals, whether they have vaulted before, or not, and pits, poles and videos will be available to introduce new vaulters to the sport.

Fay, currently a vaulter at Duke University, and vaulters from Oregon Tech will share their knowledge of the sport.
