Eye-Popping First Indoor of the season

Unread postby Russ » Fri Dec 10, 2004 1:17 am

Jordan Thull of East Lyme HS, East Lyme, CT, (11th grader) jumped 14'0" tonight (well...Thurs. 12-09) at the Wesleyan Univ. Open meet in Middletown, CT. He's ready for a big junior year both indoors and out. Way to go Jordan!

Brad,

I had planned to be at Brown on the 15th and 22nd, but I'm recovering from a slight hamstring pull (last Sat.). I should be ready to go again on Jan. 5 at Brown. I may come to Brown on the 22nd but I won't be able to jump myself (I don't think so anyway).

Thanks. I'm glad to hear that you are doing do well.

See ya,
Russ

I only use 12' poles. It bugs me whenever i go to any place to vault because i know i can use a much larger pole. My coach prefers i just stay low and work on my form until the season rolls around. Hes right, once i move up hopefully ill be satisfied.

I went to the AAU nationals this past summer. There i used a 13' pole, but the transition was short notice. Now i can at least jump whatever grip i use, so im pretty happy.

Sorry for the double post. im new here
