Trying to figure out if I'm eligible to compete next spring so outdoors 2018...
I am trying to sit out this season of outdoor track and remain eligible to compete next outdoor season. I am a senior academically but continuing classes throughout the Fa17 and Sp18 semesters. I started college in 2013 and have only used 3 of my years of eligibilty. Credits-wise I believe I am eligibile, as I am taking a full time course load (12 credits) next spring, which is when I would like to compete.
However, my team has began their outdoor season and my name remains on our roster. I am not planning in competing in any competition this season nor have I competed in the previous two meets. How do I remain eligibile? Can I appeal my name being on the roster since I am not competing or would I need a medical waiver to get my eligibilty back?
Are there any other options? Thanks!

It sounds like you have a lot of plans that your head coach doesn't know about? I would start there.
