Hi Matt. Didn't know you joined the site. Nice to see you, though! :)

so far ive been dubbed as "sketchy" in my vault career. I'm not the smoothest vaulter you'll ever see, so i guess thats where the name came from.

My nickname during high school was, and still is with some, Pre-- as in Steve Prefontaine. The reason is because I was running a cool down in practice one day at track practice and I was way ahead of everyone else. When I ran by my coach I told him, "Now I know how Prefontaine feels!" Since then I have been stuck with that name.

Until recently, I have been stuck with the nickname Superman and Go Pre. Superman because of a news article in our school paper. And Go Pre, cuz some of my college friends found out about my nickname in high school.

Among the vaulters at Patriot Pole Vault Club, I'm known as sobe, because every practice I went to I carried a sobe with me Among you guys, obviously, I'm known as LotP or Lord of the Poles.

At my high school, I was known as Giggles. because I was insecure in middle school and stuff, and to fit in, I'd laugh at whatever everyone else was laughing at, even if I had no clue what they were talking about. Well, one day at practice they needed a nickname to call me to discern me from the other Chris, so they said how about Giggles...

Note be taken: do NOT call me giggles. I never liked the name... Sobe is perfectly fine. and any version of LotP is fine too, except I'm sure there's better things to call me (LotP is awfully long to use in a conversation many times)

EDIT: Whoops, realized I already replied to this topic...hahaha
