Big 9 and GSL regional meet

Unread postby Dtrack » Sat May 22, 2004 7:10 pm

When the bar raised to 14 feet, there were still 11 competitiors left (2 had yet to come in). But that wasn't the most surprising event of the competition...Ryan Spinelli of Mead high school, who qualified at 15 feet, no heighted...and Rife from East Valley opened at 13-6 but failed to clear 14. the top four places were:
name-grade-school-height
1. Mike Uhlenkott-12-north central-15'
2. Bron Shelton-11-mead-15'
3. Joe McFarlane-12-central valley-14'6"
4. Andrew Alton-12-mead-14'

Had spinelli and rife done as expected the top 3 places could have all been 15 footers, with 4th place bettween 14'6" and 15'. Pretty impressive.
