Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

DaRuk...if it helps any I saw their jumps...Roth could probably get a few inches higher than 16' and Ryan is going to be jumping higher...I can guarantee you that...he can get over 17'+ at practices cleanly and the GB guys just got 5 new carbons that give them a whole lot of pop at the top of their vaults

I actually didn't see their vaults because I was at my sub-section meet. I believe Roth has PR'ed by a foot and a half this year and I know ryan has a ton left in him. Right now I'm not worried about getting top three in the section, I'm worrying about clearing the at large mark of 14'8". best of luck.

Scott Roth is in the midst of a growth spurt right now. Technically, he's always been pretty good.

Yeah Scott was small last year, but he is only a sophomore now. That kid is going to get bigger and he will jump higher. He is a good technician though too
