pole breakage.

Unread postby flyinazn » Thu May 06, 2004 10:31 pm

I got to witness a pole breaking at seaman relays when a kid was attempting 13. The pole broke into four different pieces. Do the poles usually break into soo many pieces?.... or is it just the essx. Back to the story... amazingly enough he got on another pole and attempted the next two attempts. But he just didnt clear it. Sad story, broken pole.

OUR DIGITAL FLEX TEST IS 100% INCLUSIVE!The photo attached to the pole is your vaulting pole flexed to insure that it is structurally sound before we ship. Make sure that the serial number # engraved on the pole matches the number in the photo and the number on the top label. If not, contact EssxSport Corp. Immediately 1-877-367-3779. Please inspect your vaulting pole to make sure it has not been damaged from the shipping carrier.
We will not replace a broken pole please do not call us for replacement!!!!
No vaulting pole has a guarantee against breakage and they will break if misused and/or abused.
If the pole breaks it is because you did not take care of this glass product, which cannot be hit against the ground, against the standards, or against the crossbar. Breaks in 2 pieces are a result of damage to the pole from not catching the pole every time after each jump!
[color=red][b]A. Breaks in the top handgrip are due to hits on the crossbar in aborted jumps.
B. Breaks in the middle or slightly higher are results of standard hits for poles not caught!
C. Breaks 3’4â€Â
I love the PV, it is in my DNA
