WC 2015 - Beijing
Re: WC 2015 - Beijing
Intriguing matchups in both groups.
On the men's side I'll say Lavillinie, Barber, and then Fillipidis. Winning ht 5.95 or better.
For the Women I'll give the edge to Silva and the rest in a dogfight right behind. I'm torn between rooting for the new rising starts vs the old guard that deserve a big win. Maybe I'll just root for them all !

Re: WC 2015 - Beijing
A too short track for RL... like in Moskow two years ago... It explains his "only" 16 steps vault for those qualifications... Let's see in two days (5.93m is the record on 16 steps for RL).

Re: WC 2015 - Beijing
O.K...
Because now men's qualifications are over, let see who still remain for the final (a lot of surprizes in this list) :
(P.S. : the "too short track" for RL was the "B" track for qualifications... The final will happend on the "A" track which should be enough in lenght for RL who needs around 47.50 m to jump on 20 steps)

I'll take a stab at the top 8 Gonna be a great show !
top 3 Lavillinie Barber Lisek over 5.90 in that order.
Holzdeppe and Wojciechowski and Kendricks battle for next 3 positions 5.80 or better. 4th will be 5.85
Kudlica, and Gripich round out the top 8. 7th will be 5.80 3rd attempt

Totally agree with Hardflex.
Lisek is the guy... as Barber of course.

Re: WC 2015 - Beijing
I said there were surprizes in the final list.
Just to say... I heard of course from Ivan Horvat but who heard before from Robert Renner, Ivan Gertlein or German Chiaraviglio ?
Sorry I didn't... Sure RL didn't either (and I think he doesn't care ).
Will be a great show tomorrow ! I'll be working, but I will try to be in line to live that with you.
