They are both very talented, and you're getting great results, but are you OK with them taking off a foot under? In this video, Lexi's even leaning back on take-off before the take-off foot lands. I compared it to Tori's NR video and she also took off under, it does not appear to be as severe, but the camera angle is very different. I don't know if they normally take-off under, but in these last two NR's videos - they are.
Congrats, to Lexi, Tori, you and the whole team. Well done!

gaspasser, sometimes they're right on with good results and sometimes they're off with good results. They're 18 years old and each hold a national record. I hope for perfection but it rarely happens. To answer your question, I'm not coaching them to be under but if that's what it takes to break those records, sign me up for that prescription.
SteveU, Tori was off today and sometimes it happens. She's disappointed as expected but she's excited for Lexi. They both came in at 13'01.75" then 13'07.5", 14'01.75", 14'07.5. I've said it in several interviews before that it's extremely hard to get one girl to reach her potential in a meet, but to get two clicking at the same time almost requires the planets to align just right.

Thanks for sharing the film and congratulations. I'm taking notes and observing key positions. I notice stylistic differences in their pole carry into the plant. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from watching these videos. My kids enjoy watching these too.
