Penetration

Ok im not getting enough penetration, if i am able to bent the pole more will that mean more penetration. It seems like i am fast enough to hold 13 and get into the pit. What helps to pentrate more.

drive your knee and lead with your chest and keeping your bottom left arm straight should be good.

penetration DOES NOT have anything to do with bending the pole. You must be able to move the pole past vertical to penetrate into the mats. The object is to make your vault the same speed as your run, do this gripping low and gradually move your grip up a finger or two at a time.

Good knee drive is helful. Best of luck!
