A 13'6 170 is relatively the same exact pole as a 14'7 150 at the same handgrip. So the next pole would logically be a 14'7 155. Basically, you went up 25lbs in pole - unreasonably huge gap. Like Becca said, your best bet would be to borrow some transition poles in between. Some possible poles you should look to borrow from another school:
13'6 175, 180, 185
14'0 165, 170, 175
14'6 155, 160, 170
Also, don't make the mistake of just jacking up your grip - is a pole easier to bend with a higher grip? Yes, but it's much more difficult to penetrate into the pit with even another 2" of grip.
If you can't get any transition poles, try adding 2 more steps (10-12 shoes from your current starting mark) to your run for more speed. You might have to add 4 or 6 more steps. Better to find transition poles first if possible.
