Awesome job, Monica and Clay!!!! How many schools can boast a 13ft female AND a 16ft male in the same year. I bet not many... if any.

I'm pretty sure Clay is a senior. I hear he's big time into surfing as well. :D

in a high school meet i would just assume that the english measurement is the correct height
in a college meet i would assume metric
of course, there are exceptions to both of those situations.

Just saw this on dyestatcal.com
Due to some irregularity in the facility at Righetti HS
the 16-05 (Clay Johnson) and 13-04 (Monica Pacas)
Pole Vault Efforts are disallowed (thanks for the careful
follow-up and attention to detail Jan Johnson) - Last Week 4/22

Yes I heard that the standards were mislabeled. Jan was watching the videos of the meet and realized that the bar didn't look high enough in relation to the poles. They went back to the school a day or so later and measured the bar from the ground. The standards were mislabeled by about 6 inches.

This is what I heard, so Jan correct us if I butchered any of that!
