Re: Takeoff technique
You took off and the top arm was still bent at take off, this put the rest of your body into a slacked position untill the pole hits the back of the box then your get ripped forward while your arm is left behind, your arm was only an inch or two above the eye brow. We need the plant arm to be extended all the way up so the bicep is hitting the temple area of your head.

Re: Takeoff technique
I cant help but notice that your approach run coming into the box looks like its uncomfortable. I really started to have control of my jump once i started to get cofrtable with running with thepole. I know it sounds monotonous but try and do at least 15 running pole drops with a coach who know what he is doing wacthng for technical cues. Remember that pole vault is like A,B,C, u hav to get a right before you even attempt b and c
Your only as good as your last jump.

Re: Takeoff technique
Both hands appear to be gripping on top of the pole leading into and during the plant (they should be under). The grip of the hands and a correct pole carry with three step plant drills will aid in pushing the top arm up. She does a decent job piking the right leg and sweep/whipping the left to get her feet up. Nice turn over the bar.

Re: Takeoff technique
You want to jump up at take off. That last second look at the box slows you down and gets you ripped off the ground. Jump up with both hands moving up.
